Police Respond to Allegations of Negligence in Handling Recent Road Fatality, Family Seeks Answers

4

Inspector Frankie Thomas, the Police Public Relations Officer, has responded to accusations of negligence by law enforcement in handling the recent road fatality of Elvin “Respect” Patrick from Potters Village.

The family, considering legal options after Elvin’s death on December 25th, claims they were not promptly informed by the police, expressing dissatisfaction with the treatment of their loved one.

Inspector Thomas clarified that the delay in notifying the family was due to the victim lacking identification during the accident. Despite the eventual notification, the family contends Elvin wasn’t treated with the deserved dignity.

A thorough investigation is ongoing, but the family feels the gravity of the situation was not adequately communicated.

Expressing disappointment in the authorities’ unprofessional handling, the family received a late-night call about the accident, leading to Elvin’s death the next day.

The family seeks answers about the incident involving Elvin, a respected figure at the Central Board of Health, known for his amiable nature and non-confrontational demeanor.

  1. It’s easy to blame the police but I figured there must have been some sort of identification issue! We as a society conclude things without the facts…. this is a sad situation but before people start pointing the finger, note that it can happen to anyone! Condolences to the guy and his family.

  2. This is nothing new. Earlier up in the year my car was involved in an accident and the police did absolutely no work on the matter. Completely botched the investigation. Everyone needs to flood the courts with claims against them.

  3. Happy New Year to everyone! It happened to me as well . The police office that use to call in on observer radio in the mornings, not the one now . Completely cook a false report. My vechicle was actually parked when struck by another vechicle recklessly and the report to my insurance stated that I was driving and was in the wrong. This is the reason why I will never ever trust the police.

  4. Granny always there is usually a spec of truth in rumors. Establishments like the law enforcement ( police ) & the health authorities (hospital) are usually been accused of cover ups or been secretive about an incident. These establishments maybe totally innocent of the situation but certainly they are not innocent of being transparent. If their operations are more transparent to the public then there would be less accusations made against. Tom (Public) might be drunk but Tom is definitely no fool
