Police say the driver of a brown Hyundai Accent car was traveling on the Buckley’s Main Road about 2:55pm, when he came upon a white car stopped in the middle of the road with both front doors open.

The motorist told police he slowed down to pass, when a man alighted from the parked vehicle with a cutlass and boarded the Hyundai. The driver of the Hyundai told police he was ordered to get out of his vehicle, but refused, leading to an altercation.

The assailant then took $300 from the glove compartment, before heading back into the white car and speeding off. The robbery victim was not hurt and told police the assailant had a cloth mask.
