Police Officer Injured in Collision on Friar’s Hill Road

2. One of the issues that I have with the drivers in Antigua is the fact that they choose to drive recklessly when the roads are paved. Only two weeks ago, I experienced some unnecessary overtaking and poor turning judgment calls by drivers where I had to implement defensive driving techniques to avoid collisions.
   We want good roads but we’re not being responsible in road safety.

3. Is it the P.M or the G.G bullying the officer to chase people off the road for them to pass going no where but just enjoy colonial formalities and power that cause this police man accident while escorting these so call high officials ?

     Vermin’s pay for the masses to be escort for mental deficient poor humans. At the end ( mental deficient human pay the price ).

4. These police men ride and drive ridiculously on Friars Hill road in particular. They operate like bullies and indiscriminate when it comes to that centre lane.

   • From the report it appears that the police siren was on, therefore all vehicles should have been halted.

     • All I am saying with no particular reference to how this accident was caused is that they drive recklessly on Friars Hill Rd. They come down blazing in the centre lane and when another vehicle is in the centre lane to turn and having to also stop, it creates panic and confusing with they themselves not helping as they are arrogant like hell. Its like they expect the centre lane to be void of traffic when they coming blazing. What then a driver is to do if they themselves are in the lane waiting to execute a turn?

5. All law enforcement officers should be wearing #BODY_CAMERAS(audio/video), and ACTIVATED once, they leave their barracks, stations/precints), to deal with the PUBLIC on the streets.

   Drivers who’re concerned with and about #public_safety should use their cell phones or purchase cheap cameras to monitor what’s happening around them.
