A police officer in the service of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda was vindicated when High Court Judge, Iain Morley, found the officer not guilty of rape and indecent assault arising from charges in 2018.

The Chambers of OMO Law, which was retained to deal with this matter, welcomes this
decision.

Barrister-at-Law Andrew O’Kola, Esq. of OMO Law, who represented the defendant
comments that, “Justice is as much about process as it about outcome and we are elated that this matter has now come to an end with the full vindication of our client. It is our hope that (the Officer’s) life will resume some semblance of normalcy.”
