Reliable sources informed this news portal that three police officers,
one a convicted prisoner, former constable Kevil Nelson, currently serving
a 22 year sentence for the October 2006 murder of Denfield ‘Tody’ Thomas,
and two other constables who are on remand on charges of kidnapping, rape and buggery, have been re-located.

The two constables on remand were alleged to have committed the offences in the Donovans area, against a 19 year-old female on May 24, 2017.

The trio were being held in holding cells at the precinct of the American Road Police Headquarters.

Members of the public had always questioned the rationale for housing police officers away from the main prison population.

  1. Meanwhile where is Wendell Robinson being housed? Is he at his home or chillin with the brothers at Hiram Abiff house?

    • And what crime did he commit to be arrested again. If asking a person for sex is a crime well 9/10 of the population in Antigua should be in jail….smh….

    • Wendell Robinson was an excellent cop only if he operated to his conscience which he did not. He is solid educationally and could have made a difference if he was not into politics. History will show that his personal lifestyle was his downfall.
He disposed a running the red light ticket for I. The Sargent saw me in the inter section when the other light turned green, I explained to the Sargent that a car was ahead of me that stop abruptly to allow someone to cross, then the car carried on and I was stuck because the other light was already on green and the Sargent charged me for running the red light which I did not do, Mr Robinson also a driver understood how those things could happen and discontinue the charge.

    • Wendell Robinson,is out on bail-he has not yet been “CONVICTED” of any crime.”ACCUSED” not convicted..What happens to the policy of been Innocent until proven guilty? It seem in our society, its the reverse.. Some people just speak like there are Ignorant.

  2. We know now that it is special treatment for police criminals….this dont change shit the police who got away because of the system was because of the police team work

  3. After the debacle with the British police who is accused of raping the student and is being held at the luxury confines within the base, there is some attempt to bring some normalcy to the situation by treating all those held on remand, including police officers, the same. This is commendable as they should have been at 1735 from the onset. The habit of treating some prisoners one way and others a different way must end.

  4. The law is only for poor people what quty did if it was a poor man he would have been in prison, what Michael Browne did he would have been in prison, what asot did he would have been in prison antigua is corrupt like what sick
