Stanley Purcell of All Saints reportedly beat police Corporal Colin Samuel at the Immigration Department yesterday.

According to reports, the incident occurred at about 2 p.m., when the officer attempted to escort the All Saints man from the department because of his noisy behaviour.

Purcell was reportedly angry because he was unable to secure additional time for a Jamaican woman.

The police officer who tried to escort the man from the department was said to be badly beaten and bleeding.

The police officer was taken to the hospital while Purcell was detained.

Police are investigating.

  1. Stanley was very disrespectful, he should be lost in prison. Shame, he let down the Purcell’s name.

    • Purcell has a good name???everbody is there own individual…and please if u know what let me hush

  2. wow! so he took matters into his own hands?? Was the police officer a rookie? I suspect the psychological damage to the officer far outweighs the physical damage. Wishing him a speedy recovery. Guess Purcell likes to be handcuffed since he think he so big and bad.

    • He is not a rookie, but he is such a quiet guy never bothers a soul. That guy should be lost in jail.

  3. Poor fellow. Hope they throw the book at the assailant. No respect for the law. Very bad behavior.
