HOMICIDE: Woman found dead on Wireless Road was Customs employee Margaret Harris

Investigators within the Major Crimes Unit of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda are now treating the recent discovery of a female body at Wireless Road as a homicide.

The lifeless body of 52yr old Margaret Harris of Wireless Road was found lying in bushes on a vacant plot of land in the said area.

Further examination revealed she sustained multiple injuries about her body.

She was pronounced dead at 9:38am.

The alleged incident was reported to the police around 7:30 am on Friday 15th October.

Meanwhile, the police are continuing to appeal to anyone with information surrounding this incident to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or Crimestoppers at 800-Tips(8477).
