   • As bad as it sounds this is a fact. I witnessed a grade six girl from a primary school telling a parent that she was more of a big woman than her. The parent reported the grade six girl to a teacher because the girl was bullying the parent’s child who is in grade 2 for his money and snacks. These children are not easy I tell you. They want money and things and will do any and everything to get what they want. Some parents have it hard with their children.

8. There have been a lot of 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, yr old girls getting pregnant here in Antigua and Barbuda and up till now I never hear any man or boy get is locked up. It’s not the first time this is happening in this country. This needs to Stop. But! Who is going to stop it?

9. I pray it’s a school boy experimenting with sex. To think a grown man would violate a baby in that way makes my stomach hurl. Either option isn’t great for the child born of this union but when two kids play dolly house it’s an easier pill to swallow than considering a child predator was allowed to violate another child. I hope she’s not so far along that they can’t at least give this 12 year old a new beginning to live her life normally. Termination is warranted.

   • Termination is NEVER warranted unless absolutely needed to save the mother’s life. Termination will not erase what has happened. There are many other solutions that do not involve harming an innocent, defenseless baby. The 12 year old should be given counselling, support and assistance to get through the time until the baby is born and be heralded for her heroic role in protecting innocent new life in the situation.

10. Accountability falls on everyone who is involved in these pregnancies, it takes two. You all acting like majority of these young people are so innocent and naïve just playing with dollies and don’t know about sex. I just speak reality, because many of those young girls can sit and teach you old women more about sex and positions than any book can. Stop living in the past and open your eyes to reality. Yes some circumstances rape and incest does occur and that is unfortunate, but majority of the times many of those young girls are outside in evening and night time selling front. Many of you in the comment section living this sheltered life with no knowledge of how our society is operating. While many of you already locked up in your house past 6, dem young girls out in the street. This is 2024 not 1920 and many of these single parent ran homes are endorsing the young girls to go out and get money anyway they can. Open your eyes to reality. Many of you comment say I hope it’s a 14 year old boy what ignorance, like it make the situation better that children are having children smh.

12. This is happening long time.
    I can recall delivering an 11 year old and also a 12 year old years ago.
    One delivery was at Holberton and the other was at Adelin Clinic.
    Both parents took hush money.
    One father was a police officer and the other was an assistant pastor at an SDA church.
    Our young people need help and more so now. And our grown ass men need severe punishment.
    But in Antigua there is no justice and we as a society tend to hide our heads in the sand.

13. One in ten men are thought to be paedophiles. The poor children who are sold and exploited is sickening. The internet is full of babies and children being abused. So called gentlemen are hiding their behaviour from their families. Throughout the world not just Antigua!

Yes we also have adult men who are perverts too ….then again some of these young girls don’t even look like teenager cuz they already been having sex at a early age … I have a neighbour who would do anything just to get money and would use her daughter as well to make money. But who looks into these things…no one….until your caught by your parents or police or the mother and daughter didn’t feel satisfied and wants more money. These things do happen.
