A wounding incident near the V.C. Bird Market has been reported to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) by a 911 operator.
According to reports, a 21-year-old Hatton resident was injured around 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, after being struck in the face.
The victim was transported to the Emergency Room for treatment due to a bleeding wound over the left eye.
Allegedly, the victim was involved in an altercation with an individual known only as “Quan,” who used a firearm during the altercation.
Medical assessments included a CT scan to assess the extent of the injury.
Police searches for the alleged offender have been unsuccessful so far, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
