Reports say that officers from the Parham Police Station are now investigating this report of malicious damage, after the victim reported that the windscreen of her Toyota Lexus, registration number A66222, had been smashed in.

She also alleged that a plastic bottle had been left on the driver’s seat, with what appeared to be gasoline inside.

Officers went to the scene where they observed that the left rear door of the Lexus, which was parked on the western side of her apartment, had been damaged.

It is alleged that the perpetrator had used a hard implement to
break out the glass, and had left behind a plastic water bottle on the
floor of the vehicle between the front and rear seats.

Reportedly, the bottle appeared to have contained a liquid and sand; and there was also sand on the rear seat, while an odour of gasoline emanated from the rear of the car.

This offence reportedly occurred between 7:30 p.m. on April 7 and 8 a.m. on April 8.
