The search for missing Orden David has intensified, with law enforcement officers scouring various parts of the island in a determined effort to locate him and his vehicle. Nearly a week after his disappearance, investigators say there are still more questions than answers.

Police Public Relations Officer Inspector Frankie Thomas has assured the public that authorities are treating the case with the utmost seriousness.

“I just want to use this opportunity to let the general public know it is a serious matter, a serious concern. This matter is being given the same attention as anyone else who would have gone missing,” Inspector Thomas said.

According to police, CCTV footage shows David leaving a casino just before midnight on Saturday. The footage confirms that he was alone when he entered his car and drove down Tanner Street.

The surveillance cameras tracked his vehicle as it turned near the former Eis clothing store and continued up Nevis Street. However, investigators lost sight of him at the Corn Alley area due to blind spots in CCTV coverage.

One of the most puzzling aspects of the case is the absence of any trace of David’s vehicle.

“It’s rather strange, it’s mysterious, but we have professionals and detectives who are determined and committed to the task. I am more than certain that we will find some piece of evidence—something to point us in the direction we need to go,” Thomas added.

As each day passes, the urgency of the search grows. Officers have now shifted their focus to the eastern side of the island, hoping for a breakthrough.

Authorities are appealing to the public for any information that could assist in the investigation.

“To the family, rest assured the police are doing everything we possibly and humanly can to find Ordin David. We remain optimistic and open-minded that he will be found alive,” Thomas said.

Anyone with information, no matter how small, is urged to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or the nearest police station at 462-1818

  1. Whoever took him is reading the news and covering their tracks. More cameras needed around the island. FIG TREE drive needs a proper cell tower too.
Gaston we need those high tech street cameras like they have in America installed around the island strategically..
