Motorists Cautioned, Following Country’s 3rd Fatal for 2022

The police are again cautioning motorists to desist from exceeding the speed limits, and drive with due care and attention on the roads.

The warning is as a result of a fatal accident that took place on Sir George Walter Highway around 11:15 pm on Tuesday 15th February, where 25yr old Jermaine Browne of Crystal Street, Coolidge became the country’s third road death for 2022.

The allegations are that he was traveling along Sir George Walter Highway from North to South when he apparently lost control of his white Toyota Vitz motor car and ran off the western side of the road.

The vehicle collided with a wire fence before coming in contact with a wooden utility pole, causing it to break.

  1. Look at that vehicle!!! MURDERRRRR!!!

People slow down!!! Your life isn’t worth it!!! So young and has barely lived and doesn’t even know he’s dead.

Slow down! As my mother would say….”you never see car on top a hospital bed or at Barnes or Straffie’s”

  2. “…neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?” Ecclesiastes 7:17

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away. “

    • I disagree. Drivers must take their time. The tree and utility posts never move nor interfer with anyone. SLOW DOWN, Antigua is small.

    • What kinda dumb suggestion is that, the tree and utility pole and dem trouble anybody? If people can run inna cemetery what good does removing utility pole and trees can do??
