Police detained a suspect and confiscated a rented Toyota Belta following a midday crime spree on Wednesday.
The gunman committed larceny and two robberies, stealing a cell phone from a supermarket in Potters and robbing a pump attendant at Ace Enterprises of $300.00.
Two minutes later, he targeted Dee’s Service Station, where he robbed another pump attendant of just over $900.00, an incident captured on surveillance footage.
The suspect abandoned the vehicle in bushes, leading to his arrest by the police.

Evidence criminals do not consider or focus on what the punishment will be. Increasing prison time is not at all effective in crime deterrence and prevention.
Numerous combination of oppurtunity reduction techniques should be employed instead.
It will only become worse without broader crime prevention and deterrence tactics.

Swift, good and commendable job police. I hope the law deals with him quickly and decisively. There guys trying to terrorize the population with their criminal behaviour and ought to feel the full weight of the law. Other copycats are out there watching.
I recommend the chopping off of the hand, like what is done in some Asian countries, I guarantee this will be a deterence, guarantee.
