On July 23, 2024, Commissioner of Police Atlee Rodney addressed over 350 officers of the Royal Antigua and Barbuda Police Force in preparation for Carnival 2024.
He emphasized dedication, commitment, and the importance of strong community relations, particularly with crime victims. Commissioner Rodney praised the officers for their outstanding work during the SIDS4 Conference and the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup, urging them to ensure a safe and successful carnival.
Deputy Commissioners Everton Jeffers and Albert Wade discussed administrative and operational matters, while ACP Vivian Parker updated the officers on new fire tenders for the fire department.

People forget govt work for us, police work for us, we pay all their salaries. Without us they can’t exist. Stand up against this tyranny and stand up for your rights.
