Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney assured the public that all efforts will be made to ensure a safe and incident-free carnival, running from July 20th to August 6th under the theme “AH love it here.”

Rodney stated that administrative police staff will also be deployed during this period to enhance the operational team. “We minimize administrative staff and increase the operational team for major events like Carnival,” he explained.

Carnival kicks off with the APUA INET Party Monarch Semi-finals Cooler Fete on July 20th and includes events like the National Urban Renewal Development Queen of Carnival on July 21st and the Opening of Carnival Parade on July 25th.

The festivities conclude on August 6th with the Parade of the Bands and Last Lap.
