Source- Real News Antigua: The Police might soon make an arrest in the Cassada Gardens
robbery that occurred last Friday morning, March 22, sources say.

Reports say that one of the male victims who was held up by three
gunmen is being questioned by the Police in relation to the incident,
which many speculated had been an inside job.

A source says the 27-year-old Shell Beach resident – who was shot
in the buttocks during the alleged robbery – appears to be a suspect
in the case, and the Police have executed a search warrant on his
home.

Reportedly, officers went on duty at the man’s Shell Beach residence
at about 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, and executed a search
warrant on a bedroom he occupies at Shell Beach Seafood.

It is alleged that during their search the officers found a black mask.

The shooting victim later took the lawmen to his father’s residence
in All Saints, where he handed over an iPhone 11 with a SIM card
that apparently had two numbers.

Reports say the Police seized the items and took them to the St.
John’s Police Station for investigation purposes.
