TWO INJURED IN PRE-DAWN DOMESTIC DISPUTE IN FORT ROAD
Police are searching for a man who allegedly launched a knife attack in Fort Road this morning during a domestic dispute.
It’s alleged the man went to the home where his estranged wife was staying with her relatives about 2am Thursday.
A dispute reportedly developed and escalated into violence when the man brandished a knife and began advancing to his estranged wife.
Her sister reportedly intervened and was stabbed several times.
It’s further reported that one of the woman’s male relatives also intervened and was attacked, sustaining a wound to his throat.
Both of the attacker’s in-laws were rushed to hospital in serious condition.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene and is now being sought by police.
