After protest action shut down the General Post Office staff are being told to return to work.
The post office located in St. John’s has been closed for more than three weeks for renovations after the staff protested the unhealthy and hazardous conditions of the building.
“The Cabinet instructed the Postmaster General to summon his workers at the General Post Office back to work at8:00 am on Thursday morning, April 12, 2018,” Government’s Chief of Staff Lionel Max Hurst reported.
