PM wants compensation for mistreated Caribbean migrants in UK

5

The prime minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne, has criticised the UK for failing to recognise the right to British nationality of long-term migrants from the Caribbean.

Mr Browne said many of the people affected had made contributions to British life.

He called for compensation for those who had been adversely affected by the delay.

Does Mr Browne accept British Prime Minister Theresa May’s apology over the way such immigrants have been treated?
