Prime Minister Gaston Browne says his Cabinet recently approved the funding for a Youth Business Hub in St. Peter:
ABLP hopeful Rawdon Turner recently introduced The St. Peter’s Youth Business Hub.
The best candidates for entrepreneurship are by far the youths. Naturally, their malleability and temperament for change means that once given the resources, correct leadership and support, they are better able to overcome obstacles and their chances of success increases dramatically.
Youth entrepreneurship fosters friendly market competition, generates income, creates additional employment opportunities, encourages service and product innovation, and revitalizes the communities in which they operate.
This not only benefits the St. Peter’s community directly, but the country’s economic development as a whole.
Because they face greater challenges than adult entrepreneurs, they require adequate development programs, access and tools to aid in their success.
The St. Peter’s Youth Business Hub, was designed to do just that, by literally placing the keys in their hands.
