2. Wow, its it’s interesting to learn that a 14% increase was given across the board to all government workers including the civil servants whose salaries are sky high. Interesting!!

   So why is a cohort of persons working for a particular statutory board facing challenges in getting an increase?

   Doesnt the the external forces of inflation, taxes, high medical Bill’s, utility bills etc. & etc affects everybody including Peter & Paul?

   It seems as though socio-economic system is design for the rich to get richer and the poor gets poorer. ADVANTAGE NEVER DONE!!

   The negotiation that was ongoing was between the government and the Antigua Barbuda Public Service Association (A.B.P.S.A.) only.

   There was no mention of pay increase for politicians etc as this idiot is saying.

   It appears to me as if they (the cabinet) included themselves clandestinely, in the allocations in the 2024 budget.

   Now they are caught, they are trying to bring in the U.P.P. parliamentarians.

   Let us see what the U.P.P. parliamentarians will do. I hear some of them are frothing at the sides of their mouths waiting for the money.

   Civil servants did NOT get any 14% increase. Some got the 9%.
   I blame these toothless, spineless unions. They should do the damn work the people pay them for.

11. Do you know that Gaston Browne broke the law with this increase?

    Everyone says he’s lying, and that is where it stays. It is as plain as the nose on your face that he hid the increase he gave his MPs and he is just surprised that it was exposed. The question is, what will the UPP do about this OTHER infringement? Will he get away with yet another?

12. Why ask what is UPP going to do? Why not ask what we, THE CITIZENS, are going g to do?
    Thousands are owed back pay, overtime pay; many are earning wages and salaries that make survival almost impossible. Haven’t we watched with chagrin, as mothers look nervously at the cash register, wondering if they may have to put something back? The idiot DAWG increased gasoline prices; we sit quiet, absorbing the abuse;they don’t pay for gasoline; they’re about to increase water rates; they don’t pay for water. What more advantage will we endure at the hands of these parasites? What will it take for us to rid the country of this scourge? What?
