Sale of Antigua Cancer Center Nears Completion
Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Gaston Browne has announced that the sale of the cancer center is nearing completion.
The buyer is a group from the United States, and according to Browne, the sales proceeds have already been sent to a local attorney and are being held in escrow.
Browne expressed hope that the remaining documentation will be finalized within the next week at the latest, allowing the sale to be completed.
This development comes after months of negotiations and planning to secure a new owner for the cancer center, which provides critical medical services to the people of Antigua and Barbuda.
The prime minister’s announcement brings welcome news for patients and families who rely on the cancer center for treatment and care.
