Prime Minister Gaston Browne called on his fellow regional Heads of Government to re-think their participation in the OECS travel bubble.
Grenada and St. Kitts & Nevis are two states in the sub-grouping to publicly withdraw from the bubble.
“I think it is a nonsensical decision and I do hope my colleagues will reconsider their decision,” Browne told Pointe FM today.
The bubble would have allowed OECS nationals to travel in participating states without the need to mandatory quarantine.
Prime Minister Browne says he does not understand the decision of his colleagues since the negative PCR test is still required.
He said it is strange that some of these countries are now allowing visitors from COVID hotspots but wont allow their own neighbours to move.
Browne said given the rate of infection of COVID-19 in the OECS the risk of infection is relatively low.

Again for those who talk about test, when did any kind of test determine life. For years doctors send me for tests but the true determination is based on either the medication or the adjustment whether exercise, not smoking, the beach etc.
