  1. LOL. Good one Mr. Prime Minister. Keep it coming; we the foolish people of Antigua & Barbuda will lap up your ignorance.

  2. Services at our main hospital is of international standard but yet still you could not use our services you had to go to Miami WOW good job🤐🥱

    • @Bluddy… offering and doing are 2 different things. I can offer you a million dollars; if I don’t give it to you it is not worth a lick. STOP DEFENDING IGNORANCE

    • @Bluddy Bloke…could you please let your thought make sense, in the esSENCE. of what you’re trying to say!
Because, how could you be providing first class international healthcare services with “questionable practitioners? Were they hired through a Lottery, Pull a Name from the Hat, Mudical Chairs or from M.A.S.H. Hogans Heroes, The Flint Stones?

  4. Does Sir Lester Bird Medical Center have all these Departments?
Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Respiratory, Nephrology, Dialysis, Cerebrovascular
Medicine, Neurology, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Hematology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Psychiatry, Pediatrics, OB&GYN, Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Digestive Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Breast Surgery, Endoscopic Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Urology, E.N.T., Anesthesiology, Pathology, Radiology, Therapeutic Radiology, Palliative Care, Rehabilitation, Emergency Dept., Clinical-Laboratory, NICU, Health Promotion

  5. This was posted on the same day as a video of the PM stating that he and his wife got their physical check ups in the USA. This man is quite callous.
Mr. PM, why didn’t you and your wife utilize the health services at the hospital in Antigua before going on vacation? Directly in Antiguans faces, you showed the issue of classism that exists there – and is increasingly obvious under your tenure. You have openly taken the people of Antigua and Barbuda for fools. Wow, just savage, Mr. PM.

  6. I’m assuming there has been no audit or initiative to deep dive into this matter.
What research is the PM basing this assertion. Does he and his family attend the hospital when they are in need of medical attention?

Please put your money wear your mouth is Mr Browne and ensure all of your and your family’s medical needs are met at SLBMC.

Perhaps, then you can make an informed assertion. Absolute nonsense.

  7. Unbelievable. He says that he and his wife had their annual check up in the US.
Does anyone else see the irony and double talk in this?

  8. Let’s be real, anyone that can afford it stays away, far away from the hospital, find a private physician or travels to get good health care. Very sad that they can’t get it together. You’d think with all the interns working at the hospital a few fully licensed experienced doctors would be on each shift to make sure the hospital runs smoothly.
Lord let me die at home cause they’re sure to kill me up on the mount.

  9. Yes, international standard, that’s why he went to have his checkup done…internationally…

  10. So Ass-ton Browne, why did you go away to get your wellness check? Why did MS Browne go to the Hospitals in both TCI and Miami to get his care for heart burn? Why do your Kitchen Cabinet go away from that Hospital instead of going to it for medical situations? You cannot judge that place by the outside looks, nice pastel colors.Judge it by the way patients are treated on the inside. If it is up to International Standards. Why there is not a Neurosurgeon on Staff? Why a Pathologist is not on Staff? Is there a Trauma Center at the Hospital? Ass-ton Browne, you tink all a are we trupit.

  11. Sure they are. If the international standard says that patients don’t get food from the hospital, requiring families to bring it in.

  12. Right number one for the scores of lives taken with bed sores. If you see what a stage 3 bed sore look like . That is a person that is actually rotting. Just for the bed sore problem I would replace all the top management of the hell hole snd take back the Sir from the minister of health.

  13. Like this PM on another head trip! This government just assisted young Simon to get medical treatment in Texas because he could not be helped here…and the first major issue the Texas facility encountered was that the young man had STAGE 4 BED SORES!!!! Stinking festering bed sores that needed cleaning.
Mr. PM that was not happening in your ‘international level ‘ hospital…so go dream yuh dream elsewhere, and stop trying to fool people.

  14. My Mom Died at Holberton in 1990 when she was 19. Several other similar situations since then. Antigua hospital system could not compare especially to some top official facilities in the states. The PM knows this to be true. The entire medical system here needs a revamp especially when it comes to flying out people who are sick. I’m wishing them the best here.
