Prime Minister Gaston Browne announced that Ambassador Calvin Ayre is interested in transforming Barbuda’s old airport runway and terminal into a business hub.
Ambassador Ayre has stated that this investment would also provide a launchpad for his helicopter operations in the region.
This week, the Cabinet indicated that the proposed business hub would include various commercial enterprises.
The current airport in Codrington will be repurposed once the new airport on Barbuda receives approval from the Eastern Civil Aviation Authority.

Meanwhile the potential investment as proposed for Valley Church sits idle and in need of lubricants. “KY” that is. Joker!
