If Viv sees something he sees as wrong, you think he needs to shut up and be thankful? Not at all! I am proud of Viv for seeing wrong and pointing it out. Why does he need to remain quiet? I think that Gaston wants all Antiguans to remain quiet while he plunders. Nobody who is engaged in skullduggery wants a light to shine on them. Sir Viv is setting an example.
This will continue and never change; until the religious Ministers as a Community, the lawyers collectively, the business organizations especially the hotel association and importers come out of hiding and request accountability.
Gaston’s advice is telling. Those who have it (meaning some form of financial comfort) should keep their mouth shut; stay out of politics don’t rock the boat or bite the hands that feeds them.
Gaston is advising Sir. Vic to follow the example of The Religious Ministers, the lawyers Association, the business organizations. Keep your head down and enjoy the riches of the corruption regime.

My personal opinion is that I don’t like this narrative at all. Sir Viv is a national hero and one of the best sportsmen ever that world has ever seen. You call on the hotel association to hold the government accountable to what we do, this is exactly what we do! A reminder that we are a private sector entity with no accountability to any organization or affiliation.
