  1. So the elected parliamentarians from the Opposition claimed that not enough time was given to them to prepare for the budget. Now what is the excuse for the Senators. They certainly cannot claim the same. They had enough time. They are just not ready for prime time. Well as their Chairwoman said, they will have their own budget presentation in the people’s parliament in the new year at a yet to determine place. May I suggest to them Thwaites Corner or Under the Tamarind Tree in Bethesda. They are good in playing Dolly House, that is what Antigua is for them. So let them play. I always wanted to be doctor when we used to play dolly house. Cause I wanted to listen to the heartbeat of the girls.

      Even members of the ruling ABLP under VC Bird boycotted the budget debate when they wanted him to resign.
