Roberts was an exemplary leader whose commitment, passion for Public Health Nursing and Nursing Education in Antigua and Barbuda touched countless lives. Roberts was a Nurse Educator at the School of Nursing for many years before her appointment as SPHN.

Sir Molwyn Joseph, Minister of Health, expressed his sorrow at the loss, stating, “Phillipa Roberts was a pillar in our healthcare system. Her dedication to improving the health and wellbeing of our nation was unmatched, and her absence will be deeply felt by all. We have lost not only a brilliant nurse and leader but also a cherished colleague and friend.”

The management and staff of the Ministry, along with the nursing fraternity of Antigua and Barbuda, remember her tireless efforts, professionalism, and compassion. Her legacy of service, care, and advocacy for public health will forever remain in our hearts.

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to her family during this difficult time. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

  1. IMO, this is another vaccine death on the long list of deaths occuring in Antigua. Sadly, the heath officials are choosing to ignore the elephant in the room.
Those of you that took an mRNA jab needs to understand that even a mild illness can be fatal. Don’t panic, but take any signs of illness seriously. Get some antiviral meds if it’s available where you are OTC.
SPENT TIME in the SUN for vitamin D production.
Try to rebuild a functional immune system by taking frequent doses of vitamin C. Take zinc, selenium, vitamin A. A high quality food based multivitamin that has more than the RDA of these nutrients is good, or get them individually. NOT synthetic vitamins.
Don’t assume you’re getting enough of these nutrients from food. Decrease inflammation from the body by drinking turmeric tea — add a little black pepper when boiling to increase absorption. Intermittent fasting triggers autophagy, this helps to rebuild the immune system.

From the death of other can the living learn!

  2. Soo nicely stated- but a bit soft on the medical fraternity- they are in ‘Total Denial”- until people wake up and demand answers from the health officials- the silence on this tragedy will continue to be deafening silence. It’s time for answers.

  3. It’s so sad to hear of the passing of another Antiguan medical professional.

    THAT’S 3 OR 4 NOW!

I’m sick to the back teeth with our Health Minister Molwyn Joseph. He was the one that insisted that our doctors and nurses working here had to take the mRNA Covid-19 vaccines or they would lose their jobs (and many other practitioners around the world were made to do follow suit).

Joseph’s “fake” commiserations are no comfort.

We are now 3-4 years down the line in regards to the ABLP’S implementation of the vaccines, and unfortunately those who have partaken are having issues to this day.

@ Cannabis Indica l will pass on your recommendations. Stay blessed.

Condolences to Ms Phillipa Roberts family, friends and associates Rip 🙏🏽
