The police have issued a notice for the closure of a part of Market street during the week leading up to Christmas Day.
The portion of Market street from the corner with Cross Street to the corner with Church street will be closed to vehicular traffic from Monday, December 18 to Saturday December 23, between the hours of 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
On Sunday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) the same stretch will be closed from 10:00 AM to midnight.
Police are asking motorist to abide by the closure guidelines.
