The Pares Secondary School Alumni Association has made a significant contribution to the Eustace “Baba” Ferrance Medical Fund.

A Gofundme campaign spearheaded by the Georgia-Cayman Islands Chapter of the Alumni Association raised $20, 452.69, which was handed over to his family during a brief ceremony recently.

Letisha Lawrence, Principal of the Pares Secondary School, speaking on behalf of the overseas Alumni Chapter said the group felt compelled to assist after receiving the request from the local chapter.  Ferrance is a past student of the school.

Expressing words of appreciation on behalf of the family was Ferrance’s daughter Carissa who noted that the family was beyond grateful for the contribution.

Ferrance, who was a national and Parham footballer has been hospitalized for some time.  He is expected to travel to Trinidad today for further medical attention.
