Information Minister Melford Nicholas says barrels should only include approved items that qualify as part of the pandemic initiative.

Items outside of the approved list will be charged to barrel recipients by the Customs Department.

Barrels will also be subject to inspection by Custom Officers on arrival.

There was an earlier announcement that it would end on July 31, 2021.

  1. According to Gisele the PM buckled under pressure of the Antiguans in the USA diaspora. What a woman/man. Glad we have a caring government. Who want to think they buckled fine. I say the listened to the cries out there and they cared. And instead of extending it for a month the extended it for the entire year.
