An Ottos Comprehensive student was reportedly hospitalized Thursday evening after allegedly being injured in an attack by fellow students.

The incident happened on the streets after the students had left classes for the day.

Initial reports suggest the student was attacked by several of his peers. The extent of his injuries remains unclear.

School officials have made a verbal report to the Ministry of Education but have not provided details. A full report is expected to be furnished to the Ministry by Friday.

  1. The heart of man gets more cruel each passing day.
People of this nation: these are serious times in which we live. No love, no compassion, no mercy ! Even our senior citizens are abused and abandoned by government.
Whether you are red, blue, green or colorless: just look around and take note….that these are not normal times. In truth, covid-19 has brought forth the real normal in the heart of man: CORRUPTION AND WICKEDNESS !
You must be living in an isolated bubble if you do not and cannot see what is happening here.
We are near the end of man’s messed up saga on this earth. Given a long enough rope….we will certainly destroy ourselves.
The youth cry out for help….but the adults cannot even help themselves….so how can they assist the youth.
The people suffer and die…not for lack of knowledge…but lack of wisdom.
Young people…. you have got to train your minds to think seriously about beautiful things: things that are lovely, pure, true, honest, peaceful. When you do this….then the evil nature that brings about these acts of violence will vanish.
We too often; after the fact…. look back and use that biggest little word in the English dictionary: ” IF” …… extended to ” IF ONLY”. Then it is too late !
The world is in a mess ! God will not force His way unto mankind ! No way ! It is all about choices….free moral agency. When we are set bent on pursuing our own evil path…then what good results can we expect ! As we sow…that we will reap.
Since corruption governs the nation…..then evil will be the result all the time. It may not happen right away…but my people….. cause and effect never change. That is not just a fact…BUT DEEP, HONEST TRUTH.
There is no middle ground: You either serve corruption or you serve righteousness.

WAKE UP, ANTIGUANS: Your misleaders are corrupt and you are following the evil that rules the land.

WAKE UP…. there is still hope to turn to the right path. Your choice: LIFE OR DEATH ! GOOD OR EVIL !

WORLD “CRYSIS”: THE END IS AT HAND !

  2. It is quite evident that the socio-economic fabric of the communities from where these students come from is the main contributing factor for these kids behavior. If you lie with dogs you will certainly rise with their fleas. The policy of having students passing exams and going to the nearest to where they live should be of great concern…. Communities like Grays Green, Ottos, Jennings, Golden Grove, Clare Hall, Johnson Village & Bendals are well known for fights & other immoral behaviors… Why then pack everyone in the same area? It would be much better if the ministry of education put in place a system where the schools should be evenly integrated with students coming from the low & high end of the socio-economic sspectrum rather than having a school packed with students coming from their closest community.

  3. Hope the government remains resolute in its zer-tolerance policy to this type of conduct among some school children. Time to clear the kennels of these pitbulls whose propensity to attack is innate. Decent children DESERVE much better!

    • I agree with you I see comments where politics are involved and other excuses. Smh. If they can be that vicious at that age that came from the their homes. No where else I grew up in the ghetto my mother would kill me before I could behave like that.

  4. Here we go again. This starts from the home. Many may not want or like to hear it, but look at the homes and environment that most these children involved are from. No father’s, multiple siblings with different fathers. Where is the guidance and support? Women making themselves poverty prone by making children out of wedlock and/or having multiple children father’s, who share no responsibility for the growth and development of their children. And just imagine, there are so many churches around.
