Leon Chaku Symister, attorney-at-law, has been selected for reappointment to the Constituencies Boundaries Commission as the United Progressive Party’s representative.
Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle has advised the Governor-General accordingly, and Symister will receive his instrument of appointment on Thursday, January 23, in a ceremony beginning at 10:45 a.m.
Pringle says he is confident that Symister will properly advocate for the stated objectives of the Commission, which include achieving voter parity, and will advance the push for true democracy in election outcomes.
Symister’s consecutive appointment to the Commission is an effort by MP Pringle and the United Progressive Party to ensure that the knowledge and experience he gained in his previous term, in addition to his legal acumen, will redound to the benefit of the unit and of the country.
Prime Minister Gaston Browne has been duly advised of the Opposition Leader’s selection.

While I respect Chaku Symister’s reappointment, I hope the process of boundary review remains transparent and fair. It’s important that all voices are heard and that the changes made are truly in the best interest of the electorate.

I keep saying it, the UPP is going nowhere fast. They clearly have no young people support or they wouldn’t be stuck with the consistent use of the people all the time. There has to be some pay involved in this because I know that nasty green-teeth Chaku is desperate for two things, money and relevance. The same Chaku that helped Pringle and Giselle undermine Lovell so they can take over the party. I guess this is his reward. I hope his mortgage is paid up. The same Chaku that use UPP supporters. I hope he remembers what he did on deSouza rd, and the situation he had at APUA. I wonder if people are aware that he likes/liked tag team wrestling. If it isn’t a matter of public record it’s because the UPP was in office and cleaned it up. All this just to say that Pringle has to throw his henchmen bones so chew up Chaku, just make sure to use your Fixodent so you don’t end up swallowing your teeth. By the way it’s time you change those dentures, wooden teeth went out since George Washington.
