Jamal Pringle, Leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP), suspects an election may be approaching in Antigua and Barbuda, citing a campaign of misinformation by the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP). He believes the ABLP, led by Gaston Browne, is using media to discredit the UPP and create political instability. Pringle stated that this propaganda suggests an election is near, as the ABLP aims to weaken the UPP to secure victory. Elections are constitutionally due in 2028.

  1. I hope so your Most Honourable Jamale Pringle.

Here’s hoping that Gaston Browne thinks that the UPP mash-up and he gets complacent and calls an early election.

Maybe the end of Gaston’s awful reign is nigh

ANTIGUANS NEED A NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER FOR THIS 🙏🏽

  2. There is and will be no need for a called election. Unless the PM was concerned about confidence in his leadership of the Party or Government, there is no need for it. Calling election one year after an election because the opposition is weak and feckless is virtually undoing itself. The ABLP Leader is not that fickle in political saga.

  3. @Brixtonian. The UPP right now cannot attract any compitent persons to give the ABLP a senible contest in any elections right now. Their best option is to function as a pressure group while establishing a reasonable foundation for their existance. DEM NAR READY SOON.

  4. This??? This is what UPP wants for Antigua & Barbuda for real?????

  5. Well at least we know where Rev. Gordon A R Edwards political colours are nailed, when he says:

“…the opposition are weak and feckless …”

Aren’t clerics supposed to be apolitical?

But why are we surprised when so many of them supported the Covid-19 mRNA vaccine mandates on the unsuspecting innocent citizens globally; and then stayed silent when the adverse reactions and sudden deaths happened.

With much respect Rev Edwards, I’m sure you are familiar with the Holy Scriptures of Matthew 23 (especially in 23:14), which deals with the hypocrisy of so-called scribes, religious leaders and the pharisees.

Religion and politics isn’t a good mix …

  6. this dude is a real W-R-E-C-K-I-N-G B-A-L-L!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

stick to picking up dead dogs!!

  7. If an early election is called, I will stay home. First time ever for me if it happens. Hard to believe that a year and a half ago the election was decided by a mere 6 votes and now the UPP is in complete disarray. I will just stay home because I will not vote to make Pringle the PM and I will not vote for Gaston.

  8. @brix
Religion and politics mix when politicians wants mileage, but when it’s for a godly cause and principles the politicians don’t want them in politics

You seem to have short memory. 2009 election and 2014 election. The Clergy was on the stage praying for the UPP to win the election. The most outspoken one was Bishop Dorsette. They even had a special Gospel Concert during the campaign. Why is it I always have to refresh your memory. Or do you think we were so forgetful.

  10. You dumb a#%e @ Less We Forget [You], of course religious clerics can pray for political leaders. Before the ABLP weekly cabinet meetings pastors and ministers of the cloth pray before commencement.

Damn, even evil despotic leaders during the last couple of world wars were led in prayer and given spiritual guidance, you dumb a#%e.

DID YOU LEAVE YOUR BRAIN 🧠 ON THE SIDEBOARD AT HOME?

Engage your brain before you open your mouth next time …

  11. Well said @Brixtonian. These Labourites have a philosophy, straight from the DAWG’S mouth. When caught red-handed in blatant corrupt, lies and thievery,UPP did it too.
It’s the way of cartons to feed in filth.
Let’s hope tge DAWG, whom I think is the mastermind behind this UPP bash, bashing, lured into a,false sense of victory. Reds and the DAWG predicted a 17 to 0 sweep and damn near lost. Voters are not going to desert UPP because people are leaving. What Antigua and Barbuda needs is the removal of Gaston Browne and his administration.
