Why is the Church so silent?

The silence of the clergy amidst the growing tide of violence and criminality in Antigua raises profound questions about moral leadership and the priorities of the church in a time of crisis.

While the nation grapples with alarming incidents, ranging from armed robberies to brutal acts of sexual violence, senseless killings and mysterious disappearances – one cannot help but notice the stark absence of prophetic voices that once rang loudly against other moral issues.

This selective engagement suggests a troubling disconnect between the church’s teachings and its actions, leaving many to wonder why the severity of these crimes does not elicit the same fervor as debates over issues like marijuana legalization or LGBTQ+ rights.

Antigua’s identity as a devoutly religious nation feels deeply paradoxical when the very fabric of its moral fabric seems to fray under the pressure of violence and fear.

The clergymen and women who once stood firmly against perceived threats to societal values appear to be retreating into silence when the very lives of individuals in their communities and churches are at stake.

The inaction points to a troubling complacency, a tendency to prioritize certain narratives that align with their selfish beliefs while ignoring the urgent call for justice and peace that should resonate across all aspects of society.

As our society faces deteriorating safety and increasing despair, the questions remain: Where are the vocal advocates for change? Why does it seem that only specific issues provoke a righteous outrage?

The silence of the clergy can no longer be viewed as mere oversight; rather, it reflects a potential moral failing at a time when courage and conviction are most needed.

The plight of a nation that prides itself on its spiritual foundation is now entangled in the irony of choosing when to speak up, leaving the community to grapple with the harsh reality that some sins appear to weigh more heavily than others in the eyes of fundamental moral authorities.

  1. What can the church do tho?? Even tho they pray and whatever go on the streets or whatever nobody actually listens to them, right? Instead everyone turn away from the church n head to all places they don’t belong. Then in turn blame the churches. There’s absolutely nothing the church can do right now. Cause preach and it would still be the same, they would even kill the preacher.

  2. Some good points in the letter.
Perhaps the church thinks that some issues are obviously wrong and everyone knows that whereas certain new changes such as LGBT issues are more unclear. So, they speak up on those.
However, they should remember that even traditional values of respectful disagreement, listening to all sides, standing against oppression, non-violence, extra care and protection for women and children, value of noble work etc. are not well known by the young generation coming up.
One major factor is the change in media from external sources. Television is less popular now and also U.S. values have shifted. Persons watch media online, and the algorithms keep them watching the same sort of content over and over. They miss out on a lot of traditional information and stories that lead to wiser actions. Shorts are also popular. So, in-depth analysis is lacking. Online sources are not curated towards traditional Christian morality. A lot of posts are just for clicks and money. There is also a lot of fake content online with things getting worse over time with the rise of AI. News media naturally tend to focus on bad news or controversial views which can make it seem like “everyone” is doing certain things or believes certain things that activists push. Families also attend church less especially since the pandemic.
Churches should recognize that young people are growing up in a different environment and they need to hear statements made against things that are wrong lest they believe that all of society is ok with the wrong behavior. They should know that it’s ok to choose to do good.

  3. The church and its #hypocrisy is a part of the problem with their silent inquisitions, support of wars and the fact, that the church and state are partners in crime robbing, raping destroying HUEman kind as they keep promoting #CLASSISM, #SEPARATISM, #RACISM!

Religion is a War Machine. Heck, even Donald “teflon_don” Trump realize and recognize this decades ago, and is using its #forces to disenfranchise many but instituting his own inquisition(s).

In the case of Antigua, Barbuda & REDONDA, the Order of the #Worship_Master Hyram Abiff sits at the APEX of the RELIGIOUS PYRAMID SCHEME.

  4. The reason the churches are so silent, because they became Faithless through fasle religious beliefs, and teaching, and some Churches mostly focus on tithes and offerings, then to look out for the poor, and needy…

  5. It’s also important to understand that we live in a fallen world, man will always have wicked in his heart. The church cannot and should not force Jesus on people. We can pray but man has free will and many persons seem to want to do as they please. Most are not interested in God or a holy lifestyle. Many young people have no morals or standards and are very liberal, open to any and everything.

The state of the country is in fact lost but when for example; a prime minister can ask ‘Shensea or Kartel’ for a concert, suddenly it appears that peace through the spreading of the Gospel is not important, it’s just about pleasing people. Nevertheless, I do agree that there is more that the people of God can do. There is more that parents, the community and the government can do.

  6. Although I agree, what I think churches should do more than speak up is create alternatives in society. There are very many talented people in church congregations. Instead of bad talking and aggressively judging one another, members should be teaming up to make a positive contribution to society. Create wholesome family-friendly activities that persons on the island can participate in instead of fetes, create wholesome media that people can consume as an alternative to what is available out there. The purpose is not just to have fun or even to push Christianity, but simply to help people to see that there is a better way to live based on love and goodness. Hopefully some will turn to God as the ultimate source of good.
Also, do more to help struggling communities, not just with handouts but by going out there and getting to know people taking the time to truly understand each family’s needs. If people felt there were other options and people ready to help, perhaps some would not turn to crime.

  7. They are still collecting poor people’s money, no? Didn’t do anything about slavery either… in fact, they were complicit in the crime then and is complicit now in crimes against our young people.
    Cognitive Inertia!

  8. Maybe if yall actually come into the church yall would see that its still spoken about. Don’t need to jump on radio and shout with a microphone in the streets that we as a church are upset.
The law is in opposition to these obvious demonic and grievous sins thats been happening as it should and we stand with the law. When the law wants to make way for sinful things to happen then obviously we speak out.
I guess yall need some prominent big pastor to make a statement in order for yall to know the church stance because you run from the church so much and just go fete to wink up. Can’t know the churches stance if you are staying away from it. Makes no sense.

So ofc the church is outraged at all these crimes and what are we doing? Wake up early while yall sleep to intercede on behalf of the nation for God to intervene on the high increase of crime. Not just making noise on radio. Try coming to a prayer meeting once in awhile and see what issues are being prayed about.

  9. Remember that the “people” that make up a church would be YOU or me. The church is not a building. So if blame is being thrown at the church, you are equally responsible for what is done/not done. What have you or I done to address the same issues highlighted? If you say that you are not part of a church, then are you equally culpable?

  10. I go to church and I’m a SDAChristian . And from the tender age of 21 I met Jesus and I never let go. Life is hard and rough for the SDA who is trying to tell people about the second return of Jesus Christ and get ready for His coming. I have seen through the years that when you tell people about the Word of God, they tell you the Bible is not real, it’s a book of fairy tales, they don’t believe the bible, because white men write it. The church is full of hypocrisy and hypocrites, Some don’t believe that God exist etc. But, you know as a woman of God you can’t force people to do what they don’t want to do. So I just tell them that Jesus loves them even though they may not believe His words of wisdom and truth. The Bible predicts all of this insanity that is taking place. It says , because that iniquity shall abound the list Ve of many shall wax cold. Isn’t that terrifying. It only goes to show, that the same Bible many are rejecting is telling the truth for our day. We are living in Earth’s last days of history. And wether we like it or not, what is happening here is telling everyone that Jesus is coming soon and get ready to meet Him. Do it before you die and do it before Jesus returns to the Earth. People God loves everyone and wants you to know it. The Bible is God’s love letter to humans. Just trust the LORD and He will work out things for you. As a nation we all have a part to play in the dealings of our society and communities and cut the fabric to a style that is Representing God. From parents to prime minister needs to inculcate all possible and positive actions to help our children commune with God. Seventh Day Adventist at times of the year have evangelistic crusades ,when you hear of them go. Go and hear the love of God been preached. God is sends us to tell you what is going to happen, from the beginning of the Bible to the end of it. It is good news. Go and listen and open your heart to the Holy Spirit and do what He says to do. Be what God wants you to be, and that is to enter into His eternal kingdom. Go to a SDA church in Antigua or else where you don’t have to wait until crusades come around into into Any SDA church and learn all that you can in order to be saved in God’s kingdom. This is an invitation. Don’t you want to live forever?

  11. As a born Antiguan, I write to express my deep concern over the recent acts of violence in Antigua and Barbuda. In light of our shared faith, I urge us to reflect on the teachings of Scripture which call us to reject violence and embrace peace.

The Bible says in Matthew 5:9, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” Additionally, Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” These passages guide us to pursue peace and resolve conflicts with love and understanding.

Let us heed these divine teachings and strive to build a community where harmony prevails over discord. May we work together to heal and uplift our nation in accordance with God’s will.

    In faith and hope,

  12. Heavenly Father,

We lift up the people of Antigua and Barbuda to You, our hearts are heavy with the weight of the violence and wicked acts that have gripped this land. We cry out for Your intervention and seek Your divine protection and healing for this nation.

Lord, we pray for an end to the violence and for a restoration of peace. Transform the hearts of those who have turned to harmful ways, and guide them toward love and reconciliation. Let Your light shine in the darkest corners, dispelling fear and bringing hope.

Grant wisdom and strength to leaders, community members, and all who are working tirelessly to address these challenges. May they be instruments of Your justice and peace, advocating for change and healing within their communities.

Comfort those who have been affected by violence, and bring solace to the grieving. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and provide them with the support they need.

We ask for Your blessing upon Antigua and Barbuda, that this nation may rise above its troubles and emerge stronger, united in compassion and resolve. Let Your love and grace be a guiding force, leading the way toward a future filled with hope and harmony.

In Your holy name, we pray.

    Amen.

  13. The church isn’t silent…in fact the clergy is always speaking about these kinds of issues…every Sunday (sometimes twice) and some days in the week. You should check them out some time

  14. Stop blaming the church. When the church had been preaching and speaking the gospel most seem to not care! This all starts in the home. Alot of parents now a days let their own children seek advise from the streets and then they wonder why their children are this week. Just stop. Seek God for yourselves, and also go to church. Stop going to all the wrong places and allowing your children to go to these wrong places. The same way the church can pray, everyone can pray for each other and the country. Most seem to be more interesting in fighting each other, bringing each other down and the hating each other; stop stop stop. God has called us all to Love each other; Love Love Love, stop the hate! Seek Jesus Christ and repent for He is coming soon and these are the signs!

  17. The church isn’t silent. WE ARE JUST DEAF!!!!

What’s the saying? You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink? The church can and is screaming from the top of their voices, but we are not listening!!!! Parents, teachers, families and the government are all speaking but WE are not hearing. The sex, money, lifestyle, drugs, and excitement is too sweet, but fun brings fart.

Maybe it’s time to stop asking why is so and so silent and ask why are WE not listening and hearing?

    • This is so true. Perhaps young people are just too caught up with trying to have a bit of fun. The problem with certain kinds of fun and too much of it is that it can lead to the destruction of society as we know it, as is already happening, and then life won’t be so fun after all and may be difficult to fix. Responsible persons can see this coming and try to give warning. But, perhaps the long term thinking of young persons is not that strong. Perhaps society needs to try harder to help them understand that having some Boundaries in behavior is key. Or, perhaps they will only learn from experience and we just have to prepare ourselves for the inevitable demise of society…

  18. The church in Antigua and Barbuda has an important function, duty and prominent role to effectively perform and carry out to ministry to its members the word and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ and spiritually guide and uplift the lives of people who attend their respective churches.
However, importantly and instructivly, the church also has another cardinal, significant and immense function to vociferously, fearlessly, responsibly and consistently speak up for the poor, the elderly, the children, and the less fortunate citizens of Antigua and Barbuda who have no prominent voice within the country. They must also eloquently speak up about the out of control crime and murder rate and other things that is negatively affecting all of Antigua and Barbuda. The Government seem to be in a comatose state and showing little or no signs about seriously tackling the spiraling crime and murder situation while the citizens are in a state of fright and panic.
I am calling on the churches to convene a meeting of all stake holders to include the Church umbrella body, Government and Opposition, Business Leaders, Hotel and Tourism stakeholders, Police and Army and community leaders in order to address this situation.

  19. As we face various challenges in our nation, including issues of violence affecting our youths, it is important to pause and reflect on our own roles and responsibilities. Rather than focusing on criticizing others or questioning the Church’s efforts, let us turn our attention inward and ask ourselves, “What am I doing to help the situation?”

Each of us has the power to make a positive impact. Consider how you can contribute to protecting and guiding our youth. Are you involved in community initiatives? Are you supporting programs that promote safety and mentorship? By focusing on what we can individually and collectively do, we strengthen our ability to address and overcome these challenges.

Let us commit to being part of the solution, fostering a safer and more supportive environment for our future generations. Your actions, no matter how small, can make a significant difference.

    Sincerely,

  20. Fellow Citizens,

  21. Stop pointing fingers and look within your self the CLERGY IS SILENT BCOS MIST MEN HAVE FAILED THEIR CHILDREN THEIR MASCULINITY IS QUESTIONABLE PARENTS NEED TO PARENT BETTER Stop pointing fingers and look within your self the CLERGY IS SILENT BCOS MIST MEN HAVE FAILED THEIR CHILDREN THEIR MASCULINITY IS QUESTIONABLE PARENTS NEED TO PARENT BETTER

Who is listening to the PASTORS

IF CHILDREN NOT LISTENING TO PARENTS IS PASTORS

IM SURE YESTERDAY ALL CHURCHES PRAYED FOR THAT MOTHER AND SOCIETY AS A WHOLE BIT WHAT CAN THE PASTORS DO

YOU MEN HARDLY GO CHURCH YOU HARDLY PARTICIPATE IN CHURCH FUNCTIONS YOU HARDLY TAKE CARE OF YOUR CHILDREN YOU MEN ARE NOT MASCULINE MEN ANYMORE YOU DNT MENTOR YOUR MALE CHILD PROPERLY YOU DNT DISCIPLINE YOUR SELF MUCHLESS YOUR SONS SO WHO REALLY IS THE PROBLEM …….MEN

STOP BLAMING CLERGY AND LOOK WITHIN YOURSELVES

  22. Why don’t we be honest? We not looking for the church to teach US how to live better…we want the church to tell SOMEBODY ELSE how to live so WE can be more comfortable. Let me remind us that Jesus said take out the beam from your own eye before attending to your neigbour. Let us take a long hard look at the increasingly godless society we have built and ask ourselves, “Could this have generated the chaos we now loathe?”. “What can I do to bring God back into my home, neighbourhood and country?”. You might be surprised to find many places where YOU have dropped the ball. Even if the church were silent, the very bible we have available to every single one of us would speak out in judgement against us, and one day it will. Take it or leave it, all of this is covered in its pages. We just need to read it and obey it.

  23. Who is the Church? I wonder when last the author went to Church. Do you even support the Church and its respective ministries to ensure they are effective and stay relevant. As usual we take no responsibility for our action. It’s always the them, whomever the them is!!!!!
When last you even put an offering in the plate. , we waiting for the Church to be perfect and our lives are not perfect… gwaan wait!!!!

  24. The Church has consistently spoken out against issues that affect our community, including violence, drug abuse, and moral concerns such as inappropriate behavior during carnival. Despite these clear and enduring messages, it seems that many of us have not heeded this guidance.

In addressing topics such as sinful behavior, substance abuse, and moral decay, the Church has offered unwavering counsel. The challenge before us is not just to hear these messages but to actively listen and incorporate them into our lives.

Reflecting on the teachings of the Church, one might struggle to find a significant area it has not addressed, as its messages cover a broad spectrum of ethical and moral concerns. The real issue is whether we are willing to listen and take meaningful action to align our lives with these teachings.

Let us earnestly consider the Church’s guidance and strive to make positive changes in our community.

  25. What MAN allowed their children to watch the nastiness behavior of young women & big back women at carnival display such lewd behavior and says NOTHING

THE SAME MEN THAT HAVE NO SAY IN THEIR HOMES BCOS THEY HAVE NOW BEEN EMASCULATED BY THEIR WIFE & WOMEN

ANTIGUA MEN HAVE BCOME A SOCIETY OF MENTALLY weak men who have taken a back seat to the discipline of their children

Where have all the masculine men gone are they all dead
Clergy spoke out about about fathers been more present in the children lives but can the clergy enforce it

We have a society where fathers uncles and male are still up to this day in ANTIGUA sexing their OWN DAUGHTERS

MEN MEED TO STEP UP AND RUN THEIR HOME / CHILDREN INSTEAD OF WOMEN bcos the women are failing epically as well

But society ills are NOT the clergy responsibility

  26. The church does understand that we can reach individuals but you have to bring the children to church while they are young. Many parents do not go to church nor send their children to church. I can assure you that many of the young children who are in church are not out there committing these crimes. Many of the denominations are in the schools doing devotions etc but because we are not on television advertising it no one knows. We are not like the government and other institutions that we need the cameras to be on the show that we are quietly working. Do not blame the church. The ones blaming the church have never set foot in a Bible believing church to see how we conduct youth groups etc to try to help. The problem is that the same young people we are trying to help go back to dysfunctional home and the lifestyles of their parents have more effect than the gospel. THE WRITER IS PASSING BLAME ON THE WRONG INSTITUTION! THE BLAME SHOULD BE SQUARELY PLACED ON THE FAMILY!!!!!!! Believe it or not children look at what their parents do instead of what is being preached/taught in the church!!!!!!Stop the blame shifting!

  27. @Edwards…

    #Namesake…

I, for one and, I’ve come to the realization, that I’m never alone even in [tgought]; but, nevertheless, I for one again and others too, do not disregard the #essence_of_nature’s ether termed god, nor dispel the “bible(s)” as mere allegories, allegations and fictitious. What are mostly questioned are the [actions], by those who put forth varing degrees, versions, depictions/representations of such #matters, called Bible and or religion yet have done the exact opposite causing confusion.
Personally, I take these reasoning’s on church, religion and state (all one and the same) even before such times, before Jesus of Lubeck sailed the Triangular Trade and the “J” did not even exist, in the Church’s of England vocabulary.
I’m gonna refer to the times of the Nicea Decrees by the Flavians, Caesars, as this new [gospel] edict is sent forth to rule, as the rule of law(s) and indoctrinate.
The religious orders from then 4th Century to this day are all about INDOCTRINATION through their versions of religion.

For example, as you speak of Jesus Christ and that version, of religion, why when the Romans and the Church of England were translating the essence of Nature’s ether, the Bible left out many books or testaments of what they actually stole from earlier HUEman Cultures?

Next, why did the branch of the Church of England which established itself in the Americas from the 15th Century (Gregorian time) to PRESENT, had one version of the Christian Bible and another for their slaves, HUEman cargo; yet, pretending to be serving the same god?
Contradictory as #Hell_🔂_N_Heaven and their infinities! This is one reason for the Church and its inactions, in some ways.

However, lest not be complacent or naive, the Church is as powerful then as it is now. Its oldest root now inown as the Alphabet HUEman Stew – QPLGTAMQX 🏳️‍🌈 has sprung to life again, and is presently, the largest RELIGION, to include some Christians.

  28. When the true church not denominations! THE CHURCH gets it act together, God will hear them and heal the land.
    2 chronicles 7:14

  29. My dear. The church has been an hard spoken, but who listened when the church seek about Parties, revelling, drinking smoking and all the things that will bring down an individual and the church speak you all make noise saying leave up alone we are young let us be let we enjoy oursekf we have one life to live so when you all introduce eve in your life and the church speak you lash back at the church and now you are asking where is the church? Check yourself. Don’t put the blame no one else about yourself, because you is at fault.
When your parents tell you study, go to school, pay attention that is the only time you are going to pass your exam and excel in your subject area you refuse to do what parents said. Now, when you fail, and don’t have a proper education you’re blaming your parents for you not having what they were telling you to apply yourself to, so you can obtain. Stop asking about the church. Seek God on behalf of your country. Why don’t you ask? What are the politicians and the leaders of our state are doing all these killing nnd all these things have been happening has anyone call a day of fast and prayer ? No but they organize carnival and the reveling begins and the bloodshed and the sacrifice and the selling of souls.
And you’re not saying anything about that, but you are asking about. Why the church is so silent? My dear the church don’t have to come in the street and make noise. The church pray fast on behalf of the country. When we finally stop throwing blames and accept the blame for ourselves and do what is required then and only then we will have result. The church has never been quiet. When the COVID vaccine was to issue, all politicians are on board and they have been very vocabulary. Now the killing on the raping and all this eve are plaguing of a country. Nobody’s saying anything but here you are asking about the church. Are you a part of one? The leaders of this contry should have call the church to come in and have discussion to see our way forward as a nation call for a day or a week of fasting into saint John city on behalf of the country, but guess what? They can’t and a few of us know the reason why they would not call for fast and unprayer and cleansing for the country. This is not physical My dear, it is a spiritual bondage that is over the country that needs to be broken that was invited by our leaders. Teenage girl show up pregnant. Teenage girl show up ripped and when you check the background of the father for the teenagers who are getting pregnant, nobody is talking about the fingers that have been pointing. But here you are pointingfingers at the church. If my people that are called by my name should humble himself. See God face and pray then. And only then God will hear from heaven and do what heal the Land. These things that have been going on in the country If the church wasn’t in fast and prayer and seeking God divine innovation, it would be worse. And I am not asking because churches have been praying true people of God not just those that go to church and pretend to be a part of the system. But true man and woman, of God are seeking God intervention on behalf of Antigua and barbuda, so don’t speak
    of what you don’t know.

  31. The church cannot speak. It has been compromised. Enticed with duty-free vehicles and large political donations.

  32. The Church today is just like The IMF, World Bank or The United Nations per say.

Just a Monetary entity primarily using innocent Folks as a Cash Cow. Ministers don’t Pay Social, Medical Or Taxes.

  34. Not Silent

The church has never been silent. People want to follow the crowd and do evil as opposed to going to church and depart from evil.
The scripture says men love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil
Why should a bunch of hypocrites as you all call us speak out, since when society wants to hear the church?
We are still preaching the same message “Jesus Saves”
The church Is not silent the church is waiting on you to listen and respond to the call of God to repent.

  35. Really??? How is the Church being silent when evangelistic movements are on the rise? Just the other day, the Spanish church paraded the streets of St. John’s. And before that, a team from Grenada flew in to unite with the churches here as they ALSO paraded the streets of St. John’s. Or did you choose to overlook that? Oh! Didn’t you know that street pastors are visiting the communities? Didn’t you know that Christian fellowships such as UCCF and ISCCF are in the schools?

I also know for a fact that church communities such as Shepherd’s House International sends out their youths to evangelize and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyone knows of the SDA and Jehovah Witnesses house to house visits. But you know what became of it? Utter disrespect and ridicule. Doors are being slammed in the Church’s face. They are told, “we don’t want your God”; yet still, when trouble arises…who do they run to? The same God.

You need to ask yourself what has become of the all nation day of prayer and fasting that happened 4 years ago in this very land. What??? The blood of our young men and women aren’t enough for the nation to cry out to Jesus as yet? What???? The consequences of sin hasn’t knocked on enough doors as yet?

It has been written….Romans 6:23 NLT
[23] For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Many want the Church to answer for the state Antigua and Barbuda is now in…but when the Church offered Jesus, we became hunted, persecuted, and killed!

We cannot call ourselves a Christian nation when every year, carnality and sin are the aromas we send up to God. Yes! I’m talking about Carnival. Or haven’t you noticed the pattern? Do you not realize the increase in crime and SIN during the Carnival season? Do you not realized that WE, a nation, have appointed godless men and women to lead us? What did you expect?????

You have ears, but you do not listen!!!!

The Church is not silent. The world is trying to silence the Church.

  36. The scripture says righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.
We stop worshipping God and is looking to man. Some of us have stop leaning on God and have started to lean on politicians. We tell ourselves if UPP get into power things would be better. We say no one can run the country but ABLP. We start worshipping politicians rather than to worship Jehovah God and now we wondering what’s the matter with our nation?
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. So if it feels like we are not blessed anymore let us turn back to God.
This is not about the church anymore it is about a bunch of people who have put their faith in man and have started to worship the creature more than the creator.

  37. All of the churches in Antigua have false teachers in their pulpits and in very single one of them there are sin problems that are not being addressed. Sexual assault with women and minors from the leadership, sexual promiscuity, greed, slander (gossip), jealousy and malice. Secondly, the bible tells us that the world will get worse. Lastly, the real problem with Antigua is the lack of effective parenting in households. Parents are just letting their children do whatever they want with no consequences because they themselves live a sinful life. Case in point there is nothing that the ‘so called’ Church can do about this.

  38. The Church is a for profit organization, a business which MUST be TAXED like any other FOR-PROFIT BUSINESS.

Next, those #Quasi_Reparation’s Movement in the Caribbean Region, MUST now take the Church of England and the Vatican and those African Conglomerates #Who’re and were complicit in the for profit Triangular Slave Trade.

To those who think this is hog_shit, the most powerful religion and religious organization of today the LQGBTPAG, the #Hueman Alphabet Soup Order, already got paid billions from the churches coffers, especially those which were held accountable for the abuse of boys to this day.
As a matter of fact, in some American States where church organizations such as those associated with Catholicism have lost in the Courts, and are shelling out BILLIONS to their victims

So, again #Quasi_Reparations Movement in the Caribbean, the precedent has been set, in their LEGAL LANGUAGES.

  39. This is not just a church issue. This is an everybody issue starting with our young people who are growing up in single parent homes with no male influence. They have no upbringing, no manners, no discipline, no values and no empathy. Ask any employer in Antigua about young people and their attitude to work. If it is not the church, we then blame teachers and the government. Yes. all have a role to play but the child lives in a home and it starts there. However, with children making children over the past 40 years in Antigua and Barbuda, the mother herself doesn’t have a clue how to be a parent. We all have a role to play so don’t comment or criticise before looking at yourself in the mirror.

    “Tears for the Nation”
Do we think God is pleased?
Our young men sit idle and intoxicated in the streets
Our young women deflowered and exposing their teats
Hundreds of babies die in our hospital sheets
    Our family structure becoming obsolete
Our futures trampled under our leaders feet
Oh how many are the tears for this nation.

Do we think God is pleased?
Is this what we see as prosperity?
Bus stops and steps are where our homeless sleep
Garbage bins are where the starving eat
Our ministers held to no accountability
Our children going to school armed to the teeth
Violence at every feat and party
Our lands sold out to every other nationality
Is this what a economic powerhouse shall be?
So many tears are present in this nation.

Do we think God is pleased?
Cry! Cry! Cry out for this nation!

Do we think God is pleased?
Oh Fathers! why have you abandoned and become abusers?
Oh Mothers! why have you left your children for your many lovers?
Oh sons! why have you become fools and braggarts?
Oh daughters! why are you playing the harlot?
Oh streets! so many slain! have you become altars?
Oh houses! why are you no longer homes?
Oh hills! why have you given false gods your high places?
Oh churches! which god are you really serving?
Oh Antigua! why have you sold out your people?
Where are the tears for this nation!

Do we think God is pleased?
Woe to the nation whose people’s hearts are unrepentant!
Woe to the people who after violence lusteth!
Woe to the people whose leaders have misused them!
Woe to the people who’ve rejected God!
Woe to the people who will see their own destruction!
Do you think God is pleased?
I cry out for He is not!
I shed tears for this nation.

smh only in troublesome times unuh member God

  42. Why do men only cry out for God when things go wrong? Why do men only blame God for the wicked choices we make? Why is it okay to hate, mock, silence, ignore, or offend God yet all the while shout ‘inclusivity for all’?

Whenever there is a hurricane, people scramble for prayer. When the plandemic was rolling out, YOU called for prayer and fast. But when new laws and policies are made, God is not included. When development is pushed, God is not included. When fun is to be had, you ignore God. When elections are to be won, witchcraft is where you run for power, not God. When you give place to the world which pushes the murder of the unborn, the sexualizing of children, money, sex, drugs, and all manner of wickedness but get surprised when these things start spiraling out of control. You plant a tree of thorns and water it with the blood of your own youths but get surprised of the fruit it bears?

    Galatians 6:7-8
[7]Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
[8]For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

    Galatians 5:13-26
[13]For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
[14]For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
[15]But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
[16]This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
[17]For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
[18]But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
[19]Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
[20]Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
[21]Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
[22]But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
[23]Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
[24]And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
[25]If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
[26]Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Be warned. God is not to be lead around the nose, to point and accuse when things go haywire. You reject God. You reject His word. You reject His son. And He will allow you to do as your heart pleases, and the heart of man is only filled with wickedness continually. God is very patient, God is also very just.

Repent for the kingdom of God draweth nigh and the world is only going to get worse, much worse. Let the people of God go on their knees, turn away from their wickedness, and fulfill the scriptures.
