OPEN LETTER: To Hon. Asot Michael

12

Dear Honourable Asot Michael,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and generosity over the years.

Your kindness and selflessness have made a significant difference in my life, and I am truly thankful for your continuous assistance.

Your willingness to help me in times of need, often with your personal resources and without expecting anything in return, has been a source of great comfort and reassurance for me.

Whether it was during the toughest financial situations or when I was pursuing my education, you were always there to lend a helping hand. Your support went beyond that of even my own relatives, and for that, I am deeply grateful.

Your genuine and compassionate nature is a testament to your dedication to serving the community and helping those in need.

Your actions have not only eased my burdens but also served as an inspiration to me and many others. You have set a remarkable example of what it means to be a caring and responsible leader.

I want you to know that your assistance has made a significant impact on my life, and I will always remember your kindness.

Your generosity has given me the strength to overcome challenges and pursue my goals, and I am determined to pay it forward and help others in need, just as you have helped me.

Honourable Asot Michael, please consider this letter as a small token of my appreciation for your unwavering support.

I am confident that if I were to call upon you today, you would still extend your helping hand, and for that, I am truly blessed to have you as a friend and mentor.

Once again, thank you for being there for me, for your financial support, and for your selfless generosity.

Your actions have made a lasting impact on my life, and I am grateful beyond words.

  1. I was told he was like that. I did not get any form of assistance from any politicians or political party but I am happy this lady (it reads like it) got help and hope that we all try to help each other.

There is nothing wrong with saying thank you, it is good to see she appreciates the help.

Remember people who help us financial is not just money to us but they can give advice too.

  2. @The Nepo Baby,
The fact that the writer is afraid to identify themself is indicative of the consequence of free expression in Antigua and Barbuda. It certainly could cause backlash against them, and being cut off from the neoplasm gravy train.
Asot Micheal is one the best orator on the public scene today, bar none. Many times he carries himself as a generous statesman, and the man of the people. He is well known for pushing his hand in his pocket and treating everyone to two or three rounds of beers irrespective of political party affiliation.
Having said that, Asot is also an architect with Ronald Saunders and is among the best practitioners of the corrupt system we live in today.
A political leader should be known for leadership in policies and execution of those policies. His or her role is to an advocate on behalf of his Constituents as well as the Nation. Asot political leadership is to take from the public purse and return drippings as doing good and being benevolent.
That is the worse form of political corruption disguised as political leadership.
The writter as a Nepo Baby, writes in gratitude, an a beneficiary of the political process. This is typical of Nepo Babies who confuse a deeply corruptive system with benevolence generosity and being fortunate.
This is nothing to be proud of.

  3. What a wonderful human being the Honourable Member of Parliament Asot Michael is; and it beggars belief that Prime Minister Gaston Browne threatened to beat him up whilst out canvassing for a better tomorrow for his constituents.

Again, how on earth did Antigua & Barbuda, the country that I love and adore end up with an aggressive, uncouth and narcissistic man to lead us?

    PRAYING EVERYDAY FOR CHANGE 🙏🏽

    • Oh boy, you guys not afraid lightening can strike you guys anytime.
Not so long ago you guys did everything to jail this man because of the IHI tape. Now he is such a good guy. God help me with these hypocrites.

  4. If a person cannotaffix a name (psuedo or otherwise ) to a letter of gratitude leads for only one concern. It was done for political mileage & an encouragement for condoning handouts…

    • If YOU think that ,’it was done for political mileage & an encouragement for condoning handouts’,then you are probably right because that’s the culture of the ALP and being a product of that culture, you should be able to identify the signs.

  5. Based on things I have heard in the past.Asot is always willing to help his Constituents at all times.Keep up the good works and relationships, with your Constituents.

  6. How on earth did we end with Gaston Brown?
That’s the type of character the Country gets when the system is corrupt to its core. While a lawsuit was filed against Shuggy about his eligibility none was filed against Gaston who admitted to transferring voters.

  7. Ronald Saunders, Asot Micheal and Lester Bird made Gaston Brown.
After spending millions on behalf of The ABLP, Asot thought he should a political kingmakers as well as be able able to do as he likes.
Asot has perfected the art of political handouts, which makes him look generous to those who are confused between corruptive political handouts and generosity.
Take a stroll through Parham which looks like nothing was done since Hurricane Luis passed. Looking around Antigua it’s very clear that the old village/communities inhabited by locals that are less dependent on their MP are in better shape.
The corrupt system will continue to thrive when we are misguided in thinking political handouts is a form of generosity.
