Open Campus Antigua Names New Head

The UWI Open Campus has announced Mrs. Zane Sharon Peters as new Head, Open Campus Antigua & Barbuda.

Peters joined the team as the Head of Open Campus Antigua & Barbuda effective, October 1, 2018.

Open Campus said on its Facebook page that Zane is a national of Antigua and Barbuda.

“She is a proud graduate of the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus from which she obtained a Bsc. Economics and Management and an MBA from Cave Hill School of Business in 1998 and 2002 respectively.”

Peters is a former teacher and the Permanent Secretary in several ministries here.

Open Campus said that as a former educator and Permanent Secretary, she is cognizant of the significance of human resource development and aspirations of the people of the Caribbean to achieve and excel notwithstanding our small size.

“Zane is an advocate of high-performance teams, continuous learning and development to harness the talent and intellect of our people for the growth and prosperity of the Region.”

  1. I am so happy for her. This is the same lady the workers at Agriculture were demanding that the OM move her cause they cannot work with her. And all because she doesn’t stand for mediocre. A quality that is all over the public sector. It;s about time we start demanding some sort of performance from our public servants.
