O’Neil Swaby and Riccardo McKenzie Charged with Unlawful Possession of Firearm and Ammunition

2. It is full time that these perpetrators feel the full brunt of the law. They need to be taught a lesson. They have no respect for the law so why should the have respect for them

   Anyone caught with a firearm always have embedded in the back of their minds … to KILL…. Therefore, it is only appropriate that judiciary system give them the maximum sentence in prison with hard labour which will involve painting & cleaning Gov’t buildings.

3. Why are we speculating about the nationality of the persons our lawmen arrested. It is against the laws of our country to have in your possession an unlicensed firearm. Most likely if they found guilty in our courts they will be facing prison time. These young men will face prison time and given the circumstances they will be old, decrepit and deceased humans when they are allowed to leave prison. They are no good options for them unless leniency prevails. It is what it is my people. Too many of our innocent beautiful children are being taken away from us and their mutilated bodies are all over Facebook in the most gruesome manner. Pay attention my peoples. Is this the world we want to live in?

4. We must begin to develop a low tolerance for these gunmen and criminals. Once they are not born Antiguan and Barbudan citizens, we must seek to remove them permanently from the state after conviction. We have to begin to take a zero tolerance approach to such nonesense.

5. @Audley, I agree that we should have a low tolerance but strongly disagree with your suggestion of deportation.

   A citizen by birth, decent or naturalization should have certain rights and should be only declared persona non grata under extreme circumstances.

   But I do believe that the sentences should be much stronger for these gun crimes, it would be good if we can start at 25yrs for unlicensed fire arms.

14. How strange, that all of you call for stiffer and stronger sentences against gun related crime, but when the Prime Minister calls on the judiciary to do so, you guys accuse him of mingling with the judiciary. I wonder whom you guys are calling out to then. Isn’t it the same judiciary.
    The PM speaks on our behalf and the citizenry is perturb with the leniency showed by some of these judges towards the criminals. Its like they are doing this to spite us.

15. I confirm that Swaby is a Jamaican national. I must also note that he has connections in the police force, and is also known to the courts. He must be deported, but before so, he must do jail time here and pay for his crimes and not just deported back to Jamaica as a free man to go to another country to commit more crimes. He needs to be incarcerated so he can reflect on his actions before sent back home.
