One new case of COVID-19, Active cases fall to 16

(Dashboard Update for May 24, 2021)

 

The Ministry of Health has revealed one (1) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 case in Antigua and Barbuda as of Saturday 22nd May 2021 at 6pm.

 

One hundred and six (106) samples were processed by Sir Lester Bird MSJMC and CARPHA.

 

Eight (8) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to one thousand two hundred (1200).

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand two hundred and fifty-eight (1258); which is inclusive of sixteen (16) active cases.

 

There are no hospitalized cases.

 

Meanwhile, thirty two thousand seven hundred and thirty-seven (32,737) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered while seven thousand and fifty (8,579) second doses were administered.

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
