One Love on Labour Day: ABLP Leader and UPP Supporter Embrace in Rare Show of Unity
In a powerful moment of solidarity on Labour Day, a supporter of the United Progressive Party (UPP) and a leader of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) shared a heartfelt embrace, symbolising unity beyond political lines. The gesture, witnessed during Monday’s celebrations, drew applause from onlookers and served as a reminder of the spirit of togetherness the occasion seeks to promote.

Just wearing a blue or red shirt does not make anyone a supporter of either party. It is actions. What actions you may ask? Well, on a day like today…a day meant to unify workers…a day when politics should be put aside and the needs of workers brought to the forefront.
Hold a conference with all Trade Unions and their members (and please note that I did not say supporters), to highlight the pleas of workers and work together to find the solutions. Solutions to problems they face. Face the nation and be proactive and not reactive.
Unlike the unprofessional UPP people. They can’t uphold these type of things. Perfect picture for the election book
And THAT’S HOW IT SHOULD BE
DID YOU SAY LOVE?
The English language…….
“A supporter of the UWP…….”………
That’s true.
He is a supporter.
Here comes the twist,
“A leader of the ALP……….”……
Was that coincidental or a subtle message?
We know there is infighting.
We know there is ALP and GLP
We know chet and Gaston are like present day Russia and Ukraine.
So how many leaders does the ALP have?
Who is the real leader, Chet or Gassy?
Is Gassy is “A leader””
Then it is reasonable to conclude that there is at least one more.
Who is he?
Sue him.
Unfortunately it is the tax payers who will foot that bill.
However do it.
I believe he has already received something tax dollars not to show up.
His presence would have smelt death for the ALP and their activities at Fort James.
That’s too much of a risk to take.
Can’t let that happen.
Let’s get to him.
Let’s derail their plan.
Let’s pay twice as much as they paid him to come so he doesn’t.
Great plan
The. We can gloat.
Ooooops!!!!
Never thought they had what it takes to sue.
Don’t worry! Dont worry!
We will pay it.
That’s nothing to pay for saving our assssssss.
That’s better than public humiliation if you had come.
That’s a disparate moment there between Gaston and this upp political supporter there been exploited by Gaston who would have otherwise scorn Jim as unclean, but skillfully used the moment for photo ops and political influence, if only upp was not tied down by the one percenters and Pringle to be more politically dynamic.
