Omarie Christopher has been discharged from hospital after being treated for non-life-threatening wounds.
Christopher, 35, of Golden Grove, was hospitalized after being shot multiple times about his body in the Point area.
Police say the victim will now be able to assist investigators, who continue to probe the attack.
After the shooting, it is alleged that the assailant robbed Christopher of his watch and other jewellery on his person.
The assailant then fled through a nearby alley.
Law enforcers continue to appeal to the public for assistance, by providing information surrounding the incident.
