Officers accused of rape remanded

The two police officers who were charged yesterday for allegedly raping of a woman fifteen months ago were remanded to prison.

The accused officers made their first appearance in the Magistrate’s Court this morning.

The two police Constables were accused of raping a 19-year-old female in May of 2017 in the Five Islands area.

The complainant told police that she was held at gunpoint by the officers and forced to perform sexual acts.

She also alleged the officers, who are known to her, struck her in the face and threatened to kill her if she reported the matter to the police or anyone else.

At the time of the incident, the victim reported she stopped fighting back after the officers brandished a gun and threatened her life.

The accused officers are due back in court in November of this year for committal proceedings.

    • Only when Robinson was there so he can put the question to them that special question….what would u do thave headquarters as your holding quarters

  2. Look how they waste them life well if the man from st Vincent was there u know they would have had a chance to walk free…..y would something like this stay so long

  3. I hope they gauge this one wright cause some people get away from rape being called on them while in training school and ended up didn’t graduate but manage to salvage their police career to the point that something new happening again.
