  1. I think young people need more to do to help keep them off the streets. In the previous generation, kids were distracted by watching a lot of T.V. That might not have been the best use of time, but it was something to do and most of the shows had good values. Nowadays, that is not the case. Traditional curated T.V. is gone so they watch whatever is pushed on them on social media and most of what is produced today is degenerate. A person would have to try hard to search for good content, and kids are not going to search for what is good automatically. We as a society need to QUICKLY find wholesome activities to keep kids occupied in our communities. Just building sports facilities is not enough. We need clubs, classes etc. for sports, art, music, community service etc. run and monitored by responsible adults that the kids can participate in for a few hours a week readily available.

    • I concur with varied parts of this slant: but I cannot vouch for that fact that they were kids of innocence; but rather gangsta related, and orientated: while professing their preference for anarchy and mayhem with cohort consent of adult associations within their community environment: in that, they eat and sleep someplace.. A mandatory trade school program “akin” to draft enlistment for all (eighteen till twenty two years) in National Patriotic Front Organization Services. Such as nationally desired, to harness the abundance of idle human resources, and talents. Thus , incurring humane capital investment-beneficial to society enhancement at large. All this blaming it on TV and Media Outputs, is a copt-out surrender to destructive elements that can be harvest: if only society nip it at the buds; before having to trim the hedges.

  2. Somehow @Verla, I don’t think the type of youth who are roving looking for trouble are into music, art etc. From living in the Villa/Point community, their parents have completely neglected raising these children and are quite content that the streets are doing their jobs. They are not interested in education…they are not interested in sports because the same young men destroy the ball courts that are there for their recreational enjoyment. Alas! The root problem are the parents…but how do we help these parents?

  3. WHY YOU PICK ON Villa/Point Community AND STOP THERE.
IT LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE THE Community THAT YOU HATE MOST OF ALL.
LET US SEE HOW FAR YOU GET WITH THAT ONE.

  4. They are probably the same punks responsible for the recent murder in that location. Why is it so difficult to take them off the street.
