Due to the increasing COVID-19 cases, the Antigua & Barbuda Social Security Board (ABSSB) wishes to advise that January 2021 pension payments for walk-ins will be paid by beneficiary’s last name, commencing February 5, 2021. We intend to take every possible measure to safeguard our customers and our staff. For this reason, please take note of our payment schedule for our walk-in pensioners.
Cheque dissemination will be as follows:
• Friday 5, 2021- Pensioners whose last name begins with A-F
• Saturday 6, 2021- Pensioners whose last name begins with G-I (9 am – 12 pm)
• Monday 8, 2021-Pensioners whose last name begins with J-L
We wish to further advise that we will only be disseminating cheques in keeping with the dissemination schedule.
Please note that you are required to bring along your Social Security card when visiting our Office. If someone is collecting on your behalf, they need to have a dated and signed authorization letter and their Government issued ID, along with your Social Security card.
We wish to further advise, that COVID-19 protocols will be strictly enforced. No customer will be allowed entry without adhering to the proper wearing of face masks. We wish to encourage all our customers to remain within the 6ft physical distancing requirements. We all have a responsibility for the safety of ourselves and our loved ones.
