TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES:
DATE: Tuesday 26th to 27th March, 19. TIME: 8.00am – 4.00pm.
This serves as notice to allow for the safety of road users during construction works associated with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda’s Road Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project which is a grant being provided by the United Kingdom Caribbean Infrastructure Partnership Fund (UKCIF). Two (2) major highways are affected by reduced running lanes:
Two Day Road Closure:
The junction where Electric Avenue meets Friars Hill Rd will be closed for two days to facilitate widening works.
Duration: Two (2) Days – 8:00am – 4:00pm
Diversion: Attached
Road users are urged to exercise extreme caution when traversing in the construction sites. Local access will be maintained for road users who are residents and individuals conducting business at any business places within the closed areas.
No parking will be allowed along main roads or side roads in the area.
