The vessel, with two crew members on-board, was scheduled to return from a fishing trip on Thursday, June 24, at around noon. Note the vessel is a light blue, 25-foot pirogue with a single Yamaha 50 horsepower 4-stroke engine.

If you see this vessel, please contact the ABDF Coast Guard on VHF channel 16 or at: (268) 462-3206, (268) 462-2841, or (268) 462-2843.

Respectfully,
Ian Horsford
Chief Fisheries Officer

    • Exactly my thoughts too. How can members of the public or friends and family mount an effective search without any sort of pertinent information?? For example – where did they start, what time did they start, where they were going, what direction, how long etc etc…come guys!

  1. LISTEN I hear you but providing more information would be helpful. Are they fisherman sailing out of Seatons, Urlings, Greenbay, Falmouth, Bethesda or Five Islands. Any bit of information other than 2 fisherman missing would help. Many times there are articles on ANR which leave much to be desired re the information provided. Sometimes the caption of articles are very misleading.
