The public is advised that planned road closure will be in effect from February 8, 2021 to February 12, 2021 for lower Mahogany Drive, Woods Estate. This will effectively turn Mahogany Drive into a dead end at the intersection at the Medical Surgical Associates building during the period of the closure.
This work is being done to facilitate the culvert upgrade works by the Ministry of Works which is taking place as a part of the expansion and implementation of Woods Pond upgrade and road drainage capacity upgrade.
Road users are urged to proceed with caution and follow the established diversion routes for northbound and southbound traffic.
Northbound Traffic: From Upper Gambles drivers can travel along the Christ the King Road taking the last left turn that leads to the Woods Mall Woods Pond access road.
Southbound Traffic: From Woods Mall or Lauchland Benjamin Drive drivers can continue along Woods Mall /Woods Pond Road proceeding up the hill or turning right at the Mahogany Drive Intersection to Friars Hill Road.
