Service is now 100 per cent restored for Digicel customers in Barbuda. It now means that Barbudans returning to the island with the aim of rebuilding their lives following the island-wide evacuation after Hurricane Irma, will have much-needed communication for their return to normalcy.
According to Janice Sutherland, Digicel Antigua and Barbuda CEO, “It’s a challenging road ahead and an emotionally-wrenching process for Barbudans. It was critical to have communications in place and we are happy that the network is now fully operational.”
Digicel will continue to work with the authorities on their re-construction efforts.
