The Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority wishes to advise members of the public that as of 6pm on
Tuesday 28th July the VC Bird International Airport has been closed due to the impending passage of a tropical weather system across the Leeward Islands.
Based on the advice of the Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services, a further update will be issued as to when the VC Bird International will be re-opened for normal flight operations.

The people in the Meteorological office need glasses to read their instruments or just need to do like they always do read from national hurricane center. They close do the country for a depression…..not even a named storm! Winds about 30 mph and hardly any rain! The blind could see that!Something wrong in this country!
