The work of the Nolan Hue Foundation continues at the Copper and Lumber Hotel in the historic English Harbour, this Saturday 13th April 2019 at 6:30 pm, where they will host their third annual ‘Revolution of Art,’ a wine tasting and art auction fundraiser.
According to Co-Founder and CEO, Mr. Regis Burton, The Revolution of Art seeks to highlight the visually stimulating and original pieces of art created by some of Antigua and Barbuda’s talented young artists. The evening will be intertwined with a soothing performance by Arlen Seaton and the Blakk Gold Band, and some of the island’s finest wines and hors d’oeuvres.
The purpose of this evening is to not only display our local talent, but to also raise funds for the successful execution of the Foundation’s flagship program; the Youth Empowerment Retreat (YER). YER, as it is affectionately known, is a professional development retreat for youth ages 18-25. This three (3) day residential retreat is a transformational learning experience that supports the development of future leaders and is intended to be held from the 19th – 21st July 2019.
Come and witness the signature pieces of each artist, which reflects the theme of the evening, ‘Antigua and Barbuda in the Future’. Experience how the seasoned, as well as upcoming Artists in Antigua and Barbuda will showcase their vision of our Caribbean Gem, through colours and canvas.
Helping them to unveil this year’s Theme, Nolan Hue has partnered with JMVI Realty; a Real Estate Tech Company, who, for the first time will provide a Virtual Auction Room in a Mobile App where Art Pieces and Works of Art can be bought.
Only a handful of $150.00 tickets are still available, and can be purchased on the TickeTing App, Signs & Impressions on Redcliffe Street, from any of Nolan Hue TEA* (Management) or from participating Artistes.
